Give and You May Receive moves through intimacy, mutual recognition, and gender affirmation between two trans people. It understands identity as something that takes shape in relation to others, shaped by care, attention, and an ongoing process of becoming.

The photographs come out of a shared space of vulnerability, where both people are actively involved in seeing and being seen. The body isn’t treated as fixed or complete, but as something that shifts and grows through trust and connection.

Each image holds a moment as it happens, grounded in presence rather than distance. There’s a sense of exchange in every frame, where visibility is something offered and received, not taken.

At its core, Give and You May Receive approaches love as something that unfolds over time. It stays with the idea that support, recognition, and affirmation are ongoing, continuing through the uneven, nonlinear process of becoming.
